How do axial fans work?
Axial ACC fans use aerodynamically‑shaped blades to move large volumes of air parallel to the fan shaft. Mounted above the air‑cooled condenser, they pull ambient air across the heat exchanger surface to condense exhaust steam back into water. Blade pitch can be fixed or adjustable for performance tuning.
Advantages of axial fans...
• High efficiency for large‑scale cooling
• Designed for continuous industrial operation
• Adjustable pitch blades for performance optimisation
• Resistant to harsh outdoor conditions
• Long service life with minimal maintenance
