How do de-superheaters work?
De-superheaters works by spraying a controlled amount of cooling water into a superheated steam line. The water absorbs heat, reducing the steam temperature without condensing it, allowing for precise thermal control.
Advantages of de-superheaters...
• Accurate steam temperature control (typically within 5–8 °C of saturation)
• Protects turbines, heat exchangers, and piping
• Efficient inline design with precise water control
• Supports wide turndown ratios (up to 50:1)
