How do globe control valves work?
A globe control valve regulates flow by moving a disc or plug vertically against a stationary seat. As the valve stem moves, it increases or restricts the opening, allowing precise control of flow rate, pressure, or temperature within a pipeline.
Advantages of globe control valves...
• Precise flow control
• Reliable shut-off
• Capable of frequent use
• High pressure tolerant
• Custom flow curves
• Easy access for maintenance
