How do ball valves work?
A ball isolation valve uses a spherical ball with a central bore that rotates inside the valve body. Turning the handle 90° aligns or blocks the bore with the pipeline, providing quick and reliable shut‑off.
Advantages of ball valves...
• Quick quarter‑turn operation
• Tight shut‑off
• Low pressure drop
• Long service life
• Low maintenance
