How do globe valves work?
A globe isolation valve uses a movable disc and fixed seat to stop or allow flow. The disc moves vertically to the seat, providing a tight seal and reliable shut‑off, even in high‑pressure and high‑temperature systems.
Advantages of globe valves...
• Tight shut‑off
• Reliable in high‑pressure service
• Performs well in high temperatures
• Suitable for frequent operation
