How do open discharge valves work?
An open discharge safety valve automatically releases excess pressure directly into the atmosphere to protect equipment and pipelines. The valve opens at a set pressure and closes when the system returns to safe limits.
Advantages of open discharge valves...
• Protects against over‑pressure
• Simple, reliable operation
• No external power needed
• Quick response time
