How does automatic pump recirculation / minimum flow work?
An automatic recirculation valve (ARV) protects centrifugal pumps from damage at low‑flow conditions. When main flow drops below a set minimum, the valve automatically opens a bypass line to recirculate flow back to the source or tank, maintaining minimum safe flow.
Advantages of automatic pump recirculation / minimum flow...
• Protects pump from overheating & cavitation
• Fully automatic, no external control needed
• Ensures minimum safe operating flow
• Reduces pump maintenance and downtime
• Compact, single‑valve solution
